Standard
Features Compared to light gauge
sheet door products or “light duty” rolling door
products you recieve the advantages of:
- Full
sized 2-1/2” hot dipped galvanized interlocking flat
slat curtain. 24 gauge curtain, pre-finished in gray and
white combines security with lighter weight.
-
Cast iron, malleable, plated endlocks for industry
proven performance and wear. Stamped steel endlocks
simply cannot perform to the same standards as malleable
iron.
- Structural steel three-angle guides.
Feature intregal bell mouths, removable service cutouts
and adjustable curtain stops.
- Hot dipped galvanized structural
steel angle bottom bars. Greater strength and better
corrosion resistance than prime painted bottom
bars. |
|
- Full sized headplates made from
1/4” steel plate. Accept standard operator mounting
plates.
- Four bolt pillow block drive shaft
bearings. Provide a solid platform for chain hoist or
motor operation.
- Half-hex formed hoods
pre-finished in white. Deliver superior structural
rigidity and high aesthetic appeal.
- Heavy duty,
3.5:1 chain hoists for doors over 8’ high. Provide a
fine balance between operator effort and speed of
operation.
- Standard Security. The 6241 is
provided with plated slide locks for manual operation,
or chain lock for chain hoist operation.
-
Repair-ability. The Model 6241 may be repaired with
common components. You don't have to throw the whole
door away when it becomes damaged.
- Modest cost.
The Model 6241 aligns reduced manufacturing costs with
real time performance expectations for a lower initial
cost than standard industrial rolling steel
doors.
